Project Overview

About This Project

Named in honour of Sir Alex Paterson, the Scottish humanitarian and missionary who founded HIMS International WCF in 2002, the Alex Paterson Vocational Center is a lasting tribute to his belief that every person deserves the tools to build their own future.

The center offers young people in Sierra Leone practical, in-demand vocational training that opens doors to meaningful employment. We welcome Volunteers (SKILLED & NON-SKILLED, PROFESSIONALS) to join us in Missions and other life changing activities as the needs may arise globally. Courses are designed to match the needs of the local economy, giving graduates the skills they need to earn a living, support their families, and contribute to their communities.

Your support funds training equipment, course materials, instructor wages, and the facility upkeep that keeps the center operating and changing lives every year.
