About This Project
The House of Jesus for the Homeless and Disabled is one of HIMS International WCF's most vital projects: a place of genuine refuge for the most vulnerable members of Sierra Leonean society. The project provides safe, stable shelter to people who have no other place to turn: homeless individuals, people living with disabilities, and those who have been abandoned or left behind by circumstance.
Behind every resident is a story of hardship overcome. At the House of Jesus, people receive not just a roof over their head but daily meals, access to medical care, and the pastoral support needed to restore dignity and hope. Staff and volunteers give their time to ensure every person in the facility knows they are valued and cared for.
Your donation funds food and daily meals, bedding and facilities maintenance, medical care, staff and carer wages, and the pastoral support that makes this more than just shelter, it makes it a home.
